Arise Foundation focuses on the empowerment and financial freedom of survivors of financial abuse through no-interest loans, employment training and job placement, wrap-around support services, and advocacy.

Business Problem

Your business problem defined: How can we streamline our services and processes to free up staff resources as well as give clients autonomy over their learning and recovery?

Vision

Where does our solution fit in the overall vision of the company?

Our solution, Arise Digital Academy, would fit underneath Arise Academy which is the education, training and support arm of Arise Foundation.

Whom are we designing for?

As we are finding the solution for "arise academy" which is an online training platform.

we will be targeting both the Arise mentor and Arise trainee.

Mentor's challenge

4 key bottlenecks:

  • Client services are dependent on manual set up and monitoring

  • No CRM system to keep track of client profiles and comms

  • Unable to build long term data on class attendance, employability patterns

  • Unable to scale processes for increasing demand.

Other priorities:

  • Expanding Employer Host network

  • Increase mentor database 

  • Cultivate a community of both current and past program graduates

  • Seminar invitation functionalities

Trainee's challenge

Goals:

  • Move to Thrive stage (6 months of steady full-time employment)

  • Have financial freedom and autonomy

What is it?

Arise Digital Academy (ADA) is an intuitive learning management platform that allows mentors to create, manage, and deliver e-learning content.

Commercial viability

  • Total Addressable Market: 2.5 million Australian women who have experienced family and domestic (physical and/or sexual) violence in their lifetime

  • In the current model, it costs Arise ~$5000-8000 to support a client from Employment Ready Program to securing paid employment.

  • By migrating to ADA, we’ll reduce overhead time by 90% anda  large amount in cost. This will allow us to redirect money to afford the monthly $50-149 USD subscription cost of managing the LMS.
